203 Cambodian Youth Thank Officials for Educational Tour

On September 16, 2026, 203 youths from Sithor Kandal district expressed their profound gratitude for the support received from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sar Sokha, and his wife, Ka Suon Sophy Sar Sokha, which enabled their participation in an educational tour. The tour encompassed visits to: 1. The Documentation Center of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). 2. The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21). 3. The Win-Win Memorial. Through these visits, the participants gained a deeper understanding of Cambodia's recent history. They learned about the evidence of genocide under the Pol Pot regime, where millions were killed in just 3 years, 8 months, and 20 days. They also learned about the heroic struggle and sacrifices of leaders such as Samdech Chea Sim, Samdech Heng Samrin, and Samdech Techo Hun Sen, who fought to liberate the nation and bring about peace. Furthermore, they received detailed explanations about the 'Win-Win Strategy' promoted by Prime Minister Hun Sen, which ended the civil war and achieved national unity and current peace. The participants reiterated their gratitude to the leaders for providing them with the opportunity to visit these historical sites and pledged to contribute to maintaining peace and stability, ensuring that such a brutal regime never returns to Cambodia.
