Poipet Raids for Online Scams Yield No Results, 43 Foreigners Cleared
Cambodian authorities in Banteay Meanchey province conducted raids on several locations in Poipet city on June 24, investigating suspected online scam operations. No illegal activities were found, and 43 foreigners were questioned. Some were issued warnings and fines for lacking identification documents.
