Cambodian People's Party Directs Members to Enhance Local Development and Citizen Services

Vey Samnang, a member of the Central Committee and Chairman of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) Committee of Takeo Province, presided over a meeting with party members from three communes in Donkeo City on Sunday, September 20, 2026. During the occasion, Vey Samnang instructed and reminded grassroots party officials to continue striving to develop their localities further and to pay even greater attention to providing services to the citizens, thereby enhancing closeness and trust between the people and party officials. He emphasized that the nation's current development is a result of the correct leadership of the government under the umbrella of the Cambodian People's Party. Over the past 47 years, Cambodia has transformed significantly from a country that experienced bloody wars into one with complete peace and consistent economic growth year after year. The Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee added that due to the development in all sectors and the improved living standards of the people, citizens continue to vote overwhelmingly in support of the Cambodian People's Party from one mandate to the next. To reciprocate the trust of the voters, he urged all party members to serve the people in their localities to the best of their abilities and in a timely manner. He further instructed them to visit households to understand and clearly grasp the well-being of the citizens, thereby contributing to the prompt and effective resolution of all difficulties and requests from the people in their areas.
