Working Committee Meeting : Vice President attended the meeting in Nay Pyi Taw

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development Working Committee held its meeting at the Ministry of Industry and MSME Development in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday. Chairman of the Working Committee, Vice President U Nyo Saw attended the meeting and delivered an address. In his address, the Vice President outlined the successful outcomes of the MSME exhibition marking the World MSME Day, encouraging on cotton, bamboo, rubber and coffee plantation, import acceleration and export expansion, production of high quality products that are competitive in international markets. Urging on development of agriculture sector to ensure the growth of MSMEs, the Union Minister instructed on sufficient workforce, raw materials and requisite technologies. He also stressed on oil crop production, one region one product project, new MSMEs manufacturings, systematic utilization of natural resources and infrastructure, sufficient water and power supply at the workshops and industries. He also emphasized on the effective use of AI and modern technologies and Quick Win prioritization for the development of MSME sector in a short period of time. Then, clarifications were made on work implementations of the decisions made in previous meeting, reports presented to the working committee and further tasks to be carried out. The Working Committee Chairman supplemented on the clarificiatons and concluded the meeting.
