UEH Hosts Partnership Conference to Bridge Research with Practical Challenges
Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) hosted a partnership conference to strengthen public sector collaboration. The event emphasized the importance of research contributing to practical problem-solving, aiming to build a new growth model for Vietnam.
On September 20, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) organized a conference to connect with public sector partners. Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau, along with representatives from central and local government agencies, scientific and technological organizations, attended the event. At the conference, UEH announced the quality assurance threshold for undergraduate admissions in 2026. The university was also recognized for being ranked among the top 101-200 universities globally for its outstanding contributions to sustainable development goals. Furthermore, UEH revealed its plan to launch a training course for the operation of an International Financial Center for the first time. Vietnam's Communist Party emphasizes that science and technology are crucial for pioneering new growth models. The importance of university research activities directly contributing to solving practical challenges faced by society was highlighted.
