Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win visited Pyay Nursery School under the Department of Social Welfare in Pyay Township, Bago Region on Tuesday. The Union Minister oversaw the early childhood care process at the school and provided soy milk and snacks to the children. At the Thiri Khittaya Home for the Age, the Union Minister toured around the provision of health care service to the elderly individuals and presented over 7.4 million kyats cash assistance for food and clothes for 2026-2027 fiscal year along with the staff salary. The Union Minister later met with the officials from Department of Disaster Management, Pyay District Officer Office and Department of Social Welfare and Department of Disaster Management within Pyay District and gave necessary instructions. The Union Minister proceeded to the Khittayar Myay Center for Disabled Children, toured around the storage of relief aids and training on children with disabilities.
