The "Miss Thailand" pageant is set to be revived, with Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Nakhon Si Thammarat securing the rights to host. Under the theme "The Golden Era," the new organization aims to maximize the value and opportunities for Thai women.
A significant milestone for the Thai beauty pageant industry has been announced as the "Miss Thailand 2027" pageant, under the concept "The Golden Era – The Golden Age of Global Siam," revealed its first set of provincial rights holders from three key provinces: Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Nakhon Si Thammarat. These three provinces have officially signed agreements and completed payments, confirming their participation as the inaugural group poised to lay the foundation, establish standards, and propel the Miss Thailand stage to new national prominence. This historic journey is led by Pol. Lt. Col. Dr. Arthitiya Benjapak (commonly known as "Captain Cat"), CEO of Cat Unique Co., Ltd., who holds the rights to organize the Miss Thailand pageant for 2027-2029 across all 77 provinces nationwide. As the driving force, Captain Cat is set to leverage her vision, experience, and the collective energy of personnel from every region to elevate the Miss Thailand pageant beyond a mere beauty contest. It aims to become a platform showcasing the value, opportunities, capabilities, and power of modern Thai women. The three pioneering provinces are ready to make history: Bangkok is represented by Thanantorn Kaewphuang, the rights holder for Miss Thailand Bangkok 2027. With extensive experience and a deep understanding of the pageant industry, she is prepared to harness the energy of the capital to create a stage that is elegant, contemporary, and upholds high standards, ensuring the selection of a truly representative woman for Bangkok. Nonthaburi is led by Warangkana Uthensut, the CITY DIRECTOR for Miss Thailand Nonthaburi 2027. Taking on the crucial role as the host province for this year's event, she is committed to fulfilling her pledge and is making full preparations to deliver a grand, elegant, and worthy occasion befitting a host province. Nakhon Si Thammarat is represented by Parannat Chainarong, the CITY DIRECTOR for Miss Thailand Nakhon Si Thammarat 2027. She is ready to present the charm of Nakhon, its cultural identity, and the potential of Southern Thai women to add vibrancy and pride to the national stage. Her goal is to establish the Miss Thailand Nakhon Si Thammarat pageant as a significant platform for the Southern region, identifying women who are well-rounded to proudly represent their province. Pol. Lt. Col. Dr. Arthitiya stated, "I am delighted and grateful to Thanantorn Kaewphuang, Warangkana Uthensut, and Parannat Chainarong for believing in me and my company and deciding to be among the first to create history with Miss Thailand. Nonthaburi, in particular, is fully prepared to host and I am confident they will deliver a magnificent and worthy event. To other provinces that are still hesitating, I urge you to jump in! The central organizing committee is ready to offer strong support, and I am eager to find like-minded individuals to revive the legendary pageant that all Thais can be proud of – Miss Thailand 2027." The alliance of these three provincial rights holders signifies more than just the commencement of local pageants; it is a declaration of readiness from quality individuals who dare to think, dare to decide, and are prepared to co-create a new chapter for the Miss Thailand stage. Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Nakhon Si Thammarat stand ready to walk alongside Captain Cat, forging a new legend and reigniting the brilliance of the Miss Thailand pageant in "The Golden Era." The Miss Thailand 2027 pageant will connect the power from all 77 provinces nationwide, providing a platform for each province to showcase its identity, culture, and pride through its representative Thai women. It aims to build collaborative networks among organizers, businesses, local agencies, and the public across the country. The role of a CITY DIRECTOR extends beyond managing a pageant; it involves leadership, creating opportunities, and driving provincial recognition onto the national stage, while also generating value and extending business opportunities through the Miss Thailand platform. Miss Thailand is ready to step into a new golden era. The question remains: which province will be the next to etch its name in history? Stay tuned. Information Source: INN News
