Phnom Penh's Dangkor District Authorities Clear Encroachments to Restore Order

On September 22, 2026, the Administrative Unity Command of Dangkor District in Phnom Penh City led an operation to restore order and remove encroachments. Under the leadership of Mr. Bun Narom, Deputy Governor of Dangkor District, representing Ms. Kim Nhieb, Governor of Dangkor District Administration, forces were mobilized to clear corrugated iron awnings, signs, stone curbs encroaching on the road, and other materials. The operation covered the area from in front of the PTT petroleum station to in front of the Tamev soup shop, located on Prie Sa Road, Khva Village, Thmei Village, Sangkat Dangkor, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh. In accordance with the directives of Mr. Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh City Administration, and Ms. Kim Nhieb, Governor of Dangkor District Administration, Mr. Bun Narom, the Deputy Governor, led the command unit's forces to organize public order and instruct street vendors and those along the sides of houses to maintain order. This is to facilitate the smooth movement of citizens on public sidewalks for pedestrians. Concurrently, corrugated iron awnings, signs, stone curbs encroaching on the road, and other materials were dismantled and removed.
