Vietnam has emerged as a leading destination for repeat tourists in Asia, with several cities showing high return rates. According to Agoda, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Hanoi, and Phu Quoc are among the top cities that attract visitors back. Da Nang's strong performance is attributed to its well-developed transportation, convenient connectivity with the UNESCO world heritage town of Hoi An, and its array of services and amusement options. The city entered the top 10 most revisited cities in the region. Industry insiders point to Vietnam's relaxed visa rules, improved infrastructure, and low costs as key factors drawing foreign tourists for repeat visits. The country is aiming to attract 45-50 million arrivals by 2030, positioning itself as a premier destination in Southeast Asia. In the first seven months of this year, Vietnam welcomed 12.2 million visitors, a 23% year-on-year increase, though still below Thailand's 19.2 million during the same period.
