President Prabowo Meets Culture Minister Fadli Zon to Discuss Award and Honor Nominees

President Prabowo Subianto received Culture Minister Fadli Zon at his residence in Bogor. Fadli Zon, in his capacity as Chairman of the Council of Awards, Honors, and Decorations, reported on a number of proposals for recipients of state awards and honors from various parties. The meeting was held in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday (1/9/2026). Also present were Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi and Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya. "The proposals relate to the conferment of titles, awards, and decorations to a number of figures and members of the community who are considered to have made special contributions and benefits to society, the nation, and the state, and who have a track record of service that deserves appreciation and serves as a role model for the public," Teddy said in a statement on his Instagram account. "The report will subsequently serve as a basis for the President's consideration in determining the conferment of titles, awards, and decorations in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations," he stated. Previously, Prabowo also held a limited meeting with a number of ministers to discuss improving the quality of decent and affordable housing. In line with this, the government continues to promote comprehensive improvements to residential environments. "The meeting discussed efforts to provide more decent and affordable housing, including policies to ease access to housing financing so that more people can own a home," said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in his statement on Tuesday (1/9/2026). Teddy mentioned that from 2025 to the present, the house renovation program carried out by the government has reached 400,000 units.
