
Vietnamese FM Meets Lao Counterpart, Reinforces Bilateral Ties
Vietnamese Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung met with Mr. Bounleua Phandanouvong, Central Committee member and Head of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party's Central Committee for External Relations, in Hanoi on June 7. Both sides expressed gratitude for cooperation at a forum on the role of political parties in building the ASEAN Community and reaffirmed the importance of the special solidarity between the two countries. They agreed to closely coordinate the implementation of high-level agreements and key projects, particularly under the 2026-2030 cooperation agreement.
