Indonesia Discusses Strategy to Accelerate MBG in Remote Areas, BNPP RI Highlights SPPG Readiness

Indonesia's National Disaster Management Agency (BNPP RI) held discussions on strategies to accelerate Major Infrastructure Development (MBG) in the country's remote 3T areas. During the meeting, particular emphasis was placed on the readiness of the Program Implementation Unit (SPPG), which serves as an indicator for assessing the execution capacity of development programs in these regions. The 3T areas, an acronym for "Terdepan, Terluar, Tertinggal" (Frontmost, Outermost, Underdeveloped), have long faced challenges in infrastructure development and economic progress. BNPP deems it necessary to verify whether the SPPG is adequately equipped with the right structure and capabilities to ensure the efficient allocation and execution of development funds and assistance to these areas.
