CPP Leaders Visit Former Minister, Emphasizing Party Solidarity
Cambodia People's Party (CPP) leaders, including Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife, visited former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Dr. Chan Sarun. The visit underscored the party's commitment to its senior members and highlighted the continuity of its traditions and leadership.
On July 26, 2026, a delegation from the Propaganda and Education Department of the Youth Wing of the Communist Party of Cambodia (CPP), led by Mr. Chay Borin, a member of the CPP Central Committee and Standing Member of the Central Youth Wing Committee, visited Dr. Chan Sarun, a member of the National Assembly and former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, at his residence in Phnom Penh. The delegation brought valuable gifts from H.E. Samdech Hun Manet, Vice President of the CPP, President of the CPP Central Youth Wing, and his wife, H.E. Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, Chief Commissioner of the Cambodia Girl Guides. During the visit, Mr. Chay Borin conveyed greetings and well wishes from H.E. Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the CPP, and H.E. Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, as well as from H.E. Samdech Hun Manet, his wife, and other CPP leaders at all levels, expressing their constant concern for the health and well-being of senior leaders who have contributed to the party and the nation. Dr. Chan Sarun expressed his profound joy and gratitude for the visit and the thoughtful gifts, stating that it was a great honor. He highly praised the activities of the CPP Central Youth Wing under the pragmatic leadership of H.E. Samdech Hun Manet, which continue the noble tradition of H.E. Samdech Techo Hun Sen in caring for the well-being and hopes of elders who have served the party and the nation. He reaffirmed his unwavering support and strong confidence in the 7th mandate government under H.E. Samdech Hun Manet's leadership, which is committed to protecting peace, social stability, and achieving new development for the country. He also offered best wishes for the health and longevity of the party leaders. Dr. Chan Sarun shared his extensive experience, detailing his political career, academic background, and professional achievements, particularly his long service in the agricultural sector. He emphasized the importance of loyalty to the party, practical work, and the transition to modern agriculture for young party members. He also encouraged them to visit the library and museum he established in Takeo province and commended the party's outreach activities led by H.E. Samdech Hun Manet.
