Kandal Province Cracks Down on Illegal Fishing, Seizes Large Quantity of Gear
Kandal Province authorities conducted a crackdown on illegal fishing on October 19, seizing and destroying 137 mosquito nets, approximately 9,200 meters of fishing nets, and 2,333 stakes. Around 450 kilograms of fish were released, and about 50 local fishermen were educated on legal practices.
