Stueng District Governor Thanks Philanthropists for Continuous Support
In Stueng District, Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia, local philanthropist Kim Yon and his wife donated rice, supplies, and cash to the district administration. The district governor expressed gratitude, stating the aid will support vulnerable residents and those facing hardship.
Stueng District Governor Say Kimlom of Kampong Thom Province has expressed gratitude to local philanthropist Kim Yon and his wife for their continuous support of materials, cash, and food supplies to the Stueng District Administration. This statement was made during a ceremony for the handover of rice donated by Mr. Kim Yon and his wife at the Stueng District Administration building on the morning of September 7, 2026. The District Governor highlighted that such active participation demonstrates the gesture of respect, love, and full cooperation from philanthropists with the district administration. He stated that the donated rice will be used for humanitarian activities to support and assist vulnerable residents and those facing various incidents in the locality in a targeted and timely manner, ensuring no resident dies of starvation without the local authorities' knowledge and support. It is noted that the rice received on this occasion amounted to one ton. The Stueng District Administration has been closely cooperating with the Stueng District working group and philanthropists from near and far to carry out humanitarian activities, providing support in terms of materials, food supplies, and cash to residents in the locality who are vulnerable, like a drizzle of rain.
