Cambodia Announces 84.06% Pass Rate for High School Diploma Exams

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport announced on the morning of September 2, 2026, the official results of the High School Diploma Examination, held on August 10, 2026, nationwide. The ministry reported that a total of 125,975 candidates passed, representing 84.06% of all candidates who took the exam across the country. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport also stated that among the 125,975 successful candidates, 2,022 achieved an 'A' grade, 8,848 achieved a 'B' grade, 23,422 achieved a 'C' grade, 44,869 achieved a 'D' grade, and 46,814 achieved an 'E' grade. According to the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, only the list of successful candidates for the High School Diploma Examination, held on August 10, 2026, will be announced. Candidates whose names are not on the list are considered to have failed. It is worth noting that Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and his wife, Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, have announced the provision of 4,650 prestigious scholarships from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Kittipote Bun Rany for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications are being accepted from the date of this announcement, for candidates who passed and those who did not pass the examination.
