310 Wanted Persons Apprehended in Western Visayas in Month-Long Police Operations

ILOILO CITY — The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) successfully apprehended a total of 310 wanted persons across Western Visayas during intensified manhunt operations conducted from July 1 to 31, 2026. Among the total arrests, 70 were classified as Most Wanted Persons (MWPs), while the remaining 240 were categorized as Other Wanted Persons (OWPs). The month-long operation was spearheaded by PRO6 with the objective of eradicating crime and maintaining peace and order within the region. The apprehended individuals are suspected of involvement in various serious crimes, including murder, robbery, drug-related offenses, and sexual assault.
