Mary Jane Veloso reunited with family after being granted absolute pardon

Former overseas Filipino worker Mary Jane Veloso has been freed from prison after being granted an absolute pardon by President Bongbong Marcos. She had an emotional reunion with her family, who traveled from Nueva Ecija, early Saturday morning. Veloso was sentenced to death in Indonesia in 2010 for drug trafficking, but her execution was halted in 2015, and she was transferred to the Philippines last year.
