Kampong Cham Province in Cambodia has announced its preliminary Gross Domestic Product (GDP) results for 2025. The announcement ceremony was held at the Provincial Planning Department on July 29th, presided over by H.E. Rin Vira, Advisor to Prime Minister Hun Manet and Secretary of State of the Ministry of Planning, and H.E. Un Chantha, Governor of Kampong Cham Province. H.E. Un Chantha stated that the total domestic product of Kampong Cham Province reached $3.073 billion in 2025. The average per capita income for citizens was $2,830 per year, with a total provincial population of 1,085,883. The three main sectors driving the province's economic growth are agriculture, industry, and services. H.E. Rin Vira highlighted that Kampong Cham Province possesses potential in various sectors to drive economic growth, including agriculture, industry (economic zones), and services, which serve as the engine for the province's economic expansion. As a result, Kampong Cham's economy in 2025 stood at 12,339,081 million Riel, equivalent to $3.076 billion, with an economic growth rate of 6.1%. The per capita income was $2,832. The three key sectors contributing to economic growth were agriculture at 39.1%, industry at 33.4%, and services at 27.5%.
