Myanmar continues to be one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA Myanmar) estimating that approximately 3.8 million people are currently displaced internally across the country. Displaced people are increasing due to clashes between both sides, military offensives, and airstrikes that have occurred since the military coup, and those assisting the displaced people have stated that food, shelter, and medical assistance are needed.
