General Secretary, President To Lam Encourages Forces Collecting Martyrs' Remains

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam visited and encouraged the forces working day and night to collect and organize the remains of fallen soldiers at Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of July 17. He commended the progress of the collection efforts and praised the noble mission of the forces dedicated to national peace and the people's happiness. So far, 93 sets of martyrs' remains and collective burial sites have been discovered and collected at the park. Prior to this, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City offered incense and paid tribute to the heroes and martyrs at the park. General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that the collected remains not only restore the dignity of the fallen soldiers and bring comfort to their families but also contribute to the noble goal of national peace and the people's happiness. He also pointed out that this activity plays an important role in fostering patriotism and the spirit of traditional gratitude.
