PATTAYA, Thailand – A dramatic fire broke out in Naklua on June 30 after old paint cans reportedly exploded on the back of a pickup truck, igniting a blaze at a storage warehouse near the Toyota 1998 service area on Sukhumvit Road. Pattaya City Fire Station in the Naklua area was alerted at around 3.00 p.m. and immediately dispatched fire engines and water trucks to the scene. Firefighters arrived to find flames erupting inside an unoccupied wooden structure used to store old paint cans, with the fire already spreading to a pickup truck parked inside the premises. Crews quickly deployed water to contain the blaze before it could spread to nearby properties. The fire was brought under control without major escalation, preventing wider damage to the surrounding area.
