Photo Exhibition Marks 50 Years of Vietnam-Thailand Diplomatic Ties

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand (August 6, 1976 - 2026), the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi, in collaboration with the Viet Nam News Agency, has launched a photo exhibition titled "The Lens of Diplomacy: 50 Years of Thailand-Vietnam Relations." The exhibition is being held at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi and will run until July 30. The exhibition showcases the history of cooperation and exchange between the two countries over the years through photographs. It particularly emphasizes that people-to-people ties and cultural connectivity form the bedrock of the friendship between Vietnam and Thailand. This highlights not only the formal state-level relations but also how mutual understanding and cooperation at the grassroots level have contributed to the deepening of bilateral ties. As a key member of ASEAN, Vietnam plays an active role in promoting regional cooperation. Strengthening relations with Thailand also contributes to the overall stability and economic development of the region. In recent years, while deepening economic ties with China, Vietnam has also prioritized relationships with various countries including Japan and the United States, pursuing a balanced foreign policy. In this context, the commemorative event for Thai-Vietnamese friendship can be seen as part of Vietnam's multi-faceted diplomatic strategy. This photo exhibition is expected to deepen mutual understanding between the peoples of both nations and raise expectations for further development of relations in the future.
