The witness recalled hearing the victim fall onto the concrete road, followed by the sound of the suspect repeatedly striking the victim. Due to darkness, the witness could not identify either individual but immediately called for police assistance after finding the bloodied victim on the road while the suspect fled towards a grassy area, it added Responding personnel from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) rushed the victim to the Bukidnon Provincial Hospital, where the attending physician declared him dead on arrival.
