Southwestern Vietnam: Local Communities and Authorities Unite to Protect Endangered Langurs

In the mountainous regions of An Giang province, southwestern Vietnam, endangered Indochinese silver langurs (Voọc bạc Đông Dương) are being protected through the collaboration of local residents and authorities. The community affectionately calls them 'lọ nồi' and actively participates in their conservation, viewing them as a tourism asset, while law enforcement agencies are intensifying efforts against poaching.
