Cambodia Enhances Communication Skills for Water Security Project

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology of Cambodia held a workshop on "Article Writing and Photography" on September 15, 2026, at a hotel in Phnom Penh. The workshop was aimed at project implementers and stakeholders involved in the Cambodia Water Security Improvement Project. His Excellency Dr. Aun Chantha, Secretary of State of the Ministry, presided over the opening ceremony. His Excellency the Secretary of State stated that the workshop aims to strengthen two key skills for project implementers and relevant parties: 1. Article Writing: This includes the use of administrative language and simple, easily understandable language for farmers, as well as the ability to create short, clear, and attractive news headlines for official reports to leadership, the public, and social media dissemination. 2. Photography: This focuses on the professional techniques of photography (image framing, lighting, angles, and capturing key figures) to produce high-quality images for official publications. His Excellency emphasized that understanding article writing and photography skills is crucial for providing accurate, professional, and attractive information and images to effectively disseminate the activities of ongoing projects. He also expressed his gratitude to all participants and encouraged project officials at all levels to diligently absorb knowledge from the expert consultants and actively participate in discussions to gain insights for successful implementation at the local level. This initiative underscores Cambodia's commitment to enhancing its communication strategies for development projects, particularly in critical sectors like water security. Effective communication is vital for ensuring public understanding and support for government initiatives and for showcasing the tangible benefits of such projects to the populace.
