Heavy Rains to Prevail Over Luzon Areas Wednesday Afternoon

MANILA, Philippines — Heavy rains from localized thunderstorms will continue to affect Metro Manila and several areas in Luzon on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 23, the state weather bureau said. In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 2:27 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said heavy to intense rain showers with lightning and gusty winds are expected.
