Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training Focuses on 5 Key Issues at National Assembly Hearing

On the morning of September 20, at a hearing with the Minister of Education and Training, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, a member of the Central Party Executive Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly, requested a focus on clarifying the current situation, causes, responsibilities, and proposed solutions for five key issue groups in the implementation of policies and laws in the field of education and training. The hearing addressed new breakthroughs in the revised Law on Education, with the Minister of Education and Training touching upon many educational issues of public concern. An action plan for building a culture of honesty, integrity, and substance in education was also highlighted. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam has announced the establishment of a specialized supervisory delegation to implement Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo. This hearing served as an opportunity to review the progress towards achieving these policy objectives. In Vietnam's one-party system, the development of the education sector is considered crucial for overall societal progress and economic growth.
