Donation Ceremony: Offering Waso robes at Uppatasanti Pagoda

The 18th Waso robe donation ceremony was held at Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday. Union Minister for Religious Affairs U Tin Oo Lwin attended the ceremony and offered robes to the four Buddha images of the pagoda, followed by offerings of alms, fruits, flowers, and water. Later, the Union Minister and officials joined the ceremony to donate Waso robes to nine Ovada Cariya Sayadaws of Uppatasanti Pagoda. Devotees also observed the recitation of paritta by the Sayadaws and shared merits. The ceremony concluded with robe donations, offerings, and water pouring rituals. Day meals were also donated to the Ovada Cariya Sayadaws.
