Sports Coaching (Refresher) Course No. 3 opened

The opening ceremony of the 2026 Physical Education and Sports Coaching (Refresher) Course No. (3), was held Monday morning at the Lewe Sports Training Camp in Nay Pyi Taw, with Union Ministers Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein and U Ye Myint Tun, Deputy Minister U Nay Myo Hlaing, and relevant officials in attendance. At the ceremony, Union Minister Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein said that the opening of the "2026 Physical Education and Sports Coaching Refresher Course No. (3)" is intended to further enhance the quality and proficiency of currently serving physical education teachers. He stated that this is a training course that provides refresher training with expert instructors in each sport, in collaboration with the relevant sports federations, so that teachers can systematically train and nurture outstanding young student athletes in their respective schools with correct techniques. Afterward, the Union Ministers and responsible officials warmly greeted and spoke with the trainees and course instructors. The 2026 Physical Education and Sports Coaching (Refresher) Course No. (3), will be conducted from July 1 to July 18. A total of 300 trainee teachers from various regions and states are attending, and 50 instructors are systematically providing training, it’s reported.
