Cambodian Embassy Officials Support Kun Khmer Fighters at K-1 World Max in Japan

On the evening of September 12, 2026, Cambodian Embassy officials in Japan, responding to an invitation from the K-1 Executive Committee of Japan, attended to support two Kun Khmer fighters representing Cambodia in the K-1 World Max 2026 event. The event was held at the Tokyo National Yoyogi Stadium 2nd Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. Representing the Embassy were Mr. Sok Tha, Senior Advisor and representative of His Excellency Chum Sundary, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Japan, along with other embassy officials. Notably, the competition attracted enthusiastic support and encouragement from a large gathering of Cambodian workers, students, and citizens residing in Japan, demonstrating a strong sense of solidarity as one Cambodian family, despite the event taking place abroad. The participation of Kun Khmer fighters in this event contributes to further promoting traditional Khmer martial arts on the international stage. Furthermore, the Cambodian citizens who attended expressed their deepest gratitude to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate and former Prime Minister, and Samdech Kittipreah Bun Rany Hun Sen, for generously sponsoring their tickets to attend this event.
