The suspects are detained at the Tungawan Municipal Police Station pending charges for violation of Section 5 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. In a separate operation in Alicia town, joint operatives enforced a search warrant against a male suspect. Confiscated during the raid were an estimated 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at P340,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and a Colt Caliber .45 pistol with an inserted magazine, a police report said. The pieces of evidence were inventoried in the presence of witnesses before being turned over for forensic examination. The suspect is now under police custody, facing charges for violations of RA 9165 and RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. Col.
