House Distributes Over P380M Aid to Over 7,000 Filipinos

The House of Representatives’ assistance center, Suporta sa Bayan Desk (Support to the People), has distributed over P380 million worth of assistance to more than 7,000 Filipinos, according to a report from the chamber. An update from the office of House Speaker Faustino Dy III on Monday showed that since the program's launch, this assistance has reached numerous Filipino citizens. The aid provided covers a wide range of needs, including food, medical, educational, and emergency financial support. The Suporta sa Bayan Desk was established with the aim of delivering prompt and effective assistance based on applications and requests from the public. It particularly focuses on supporting families facing economic hardship and individuals affected by unforeseen circumstances.
