Millennium, an Indian tile manufacturer, has launched its large-format porcelain tile products, incorporating European digital printing technology, targeting Vietnam's premium housing market. The company has opened representative offices in Hanoi on June 16 and in Ho Chi Minh City on June 19. The office openings were attended by representatives from the Indian Consulate General, Vietnam's construction material associations, and numerous business partners. Millennium's products utilize technology transfers from major technology firms such as Torrecid, Colorobbia, System, Sacmi, and KEDA, and employ EFI Ultra-HD digital printing technology. This allows for the reproduction of realistic textures and intricate patterns, similar to marble, including mirror gloss of 98-100 GU, matte finishes, and carving effects. The combination of these surface processing technologies and the ability to mimic natural materials ensures quality that meets EU market standards. According to the company, the flexural strength (M.O.R) of their porcelain tiles reaches 485.9 kg/cm2, offering durability that prevents breakage even under significant load. With an industrial standard thickness of 8-14 mm and a continuous firing process at 124°C, the water absorption rate is kept below 0.05%. This prevents mold growth and water backflow, making the tiles suitable for applications requiring high durability, such as exterior walls and parking lots. They have also obtained certification under Vietnam's QCVN 16:2023/BXD standard. Established in 1997, Millennium has an annual production capacity exceeding 82 million square meters and operates in 85 countries and territories. By establishing offices in Vietnam, they are enabling direct sales without intermediaries, allowing consumers to access European-standard products at cost price. Furthermore, they are promoting digitalization, providing access to product information through 3D perspective images and QR codes. With three warehouses across Vietnam, they offer direct delivery nationwide.
