13-Year-Old Jumps From Window to Escape Uncle's Attack in Thailand

NAKHON SAWAN – A 13-year-old girl in Thailand sustained severe injuries after jumping from a second-floor window to escape an alleged sexual assault attempt by her 31-year-old uncle. Local police are actively pursuing the suspect who fled the scene. The incident occurred on Saturday when the girl's grandparents had left her alone on the second floor of their home while they were at work. A window was reportedly left open to help with the heat during the tropical afternoon. The suspect, identified by the alias Wee, allegedly climbed through the open window and attacked the young teenager, attempting to assault her. The girl fought back vigorously before managing to break free from his grasp. In a bid to save her life, she immediately jumped from the second-floor window. The uncle then allegedly jumped down after her and attempted to continue his attack on the ground. Fortunately, neighbors who heard her cries for help rushed to the scene. Upon seeing the approaching crowd, the suspect immediately fled into the surrounding neighborhood. The victim suffered serious physical injuries, including a compressed spine and fractured toe bones. Police Colonel Jeerawat Photina confirmed that authorities are treating this case with extreme urgency. The fleeing suspect reportedly has a history of severe drug abuse and multiple previous criminal arrests. Officials also strongly suspect he suffers from untreated psychiatric issues that contribute to violent and aggressive behavior. Investigators are currently gathering evidence to secure an arrest warrant. A team of social workers and psychologists has also interviewed the recovering victim, aiming to bring the suspect to justice and ensure community safety.
