Angkor Wat Revenue Dips, Tourist Numbers Fall; Cambodia Seeks Revival

Revenue from the Angkor Archaeological Park in Cambodia has fallen to approximately $20.3 million in the first seven months of the year, a 29% decrease year-on-year. Foreign tourist arrivals also dropped by nearly 31% to 428,223. In response, the Ministry of Tourism and Siem Reap province are launching promotional campaigns, including discounts up to 50%, and new initiatives to attract visitors.
