AKP Phnom Penh, July 15, 2026— President of the Senate of Cambodia, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, has extended his warmest congratulations and heartfelt wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 80th birthday. In a congratulatory message dated July 15, Samdech Techo Hun Sen highly commended the Sultan’s wise leadership and lifelong dedication to the well-being, prosperity, and harmony of Brunei Darussalam and its people. Samdech Techo Hun Sen praised His Majesty's significant contributions to elevating Brunei’s standing on the international stage. He also acknowledged the Sultan's instrumental role in fostering the close friendship and cooperation that exists between Cambodia and Brunei. Reaffirming that Cambodia deeply values its longstanding alliance and close bilateral relations with Brunei, the Senate President noted that ties between the two nations continue to grow stronger through increasingly fruitful cooperation.
