Agricultural and Livestock Science Institute (Taw Win) to be upgraded to college level

Union Minister U Min Naung of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation stated that preparations should be made for the upgrade of the Agricultural and Livestock Science Institute (Taw Win) to college level. He made these remarks to the responsible officials while inspecting the theoretical and practical teaching and learning activities of the Agricultural and Livestock Science Institute in Taw Win Town, Bago Region, on August 8. The Union Minister met separately with teachers and students from the Agricultural and Livestock Science Institutes (Taw Win/Tase/Kyauk Taw) and urged them to strive to organize and involve the next generation in a collaborative effort to carry out sustainable teaching activities, to endeavor to contribute as skilled human resources required for the development of the agricultural sector, and to carefully consider their career choices with a view to closely benefiting farmers along with their own life development after completing their studies, and to strive to participate in the development of the country's agricultural sector. Subsequently, he inspected the continuous 100-acre Mandalay rice field within the irrigation area of the Tase Dam and gave instructions to the responsible officials and farmers regarding the increase of agricultural production in the region and the achievement of target yields.
