Traffic engineering will be implemented on several major roads in Jakarta during the state visit of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, Y.M. Anutin Charnvirakul. This measure is intended to ensure the smooth running of the event and to show respect. The Prime Minister's state visit to Indonesia is scheduled for two days, Monday and Tuesday, August 3-4, 2026. "To ensure the smooth running of the event and as a form of respect, field officers will provide escort and temporary traffic regulation on several protocol roads in Jakarta," announced the Traffic Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya via its official Instagram account TMC Polda Metro on Monday (3/7). The roads that will be passed by the state guest convoy and affected by traffic regulation include: * Halim Perdanakusuma Street * MT Haryono Street * Jenderal Sudirman Street * MH Thamrin Street * Medan Merdeka Barat Street * Gatot Subroto Street * Gerbang Pemuda Street * Asia Afrika Street * Sisingamangaraja Street * Trunojoyo Street Traffic engineering will only be carried out when the state guest convoy is passing.
