
Major Fire Engulfs Styrofoam Factory in Phnom Penh Outskirts, Chinese Owner Unharmed
A major fire broke out on the afternoon of the 4th at a styrofoam factory in Phnom Penh, causing near-total destruction of the approximately 5,000 square meter facility. While finished products and raw materials were lost, the Chinese owner was unharmed. Numerous fire trucks responded, and the blaze was extinguished after several hours. The cause is under investigation.
