Lisa Showcases Thai Food and Drinking Culture on Jimmy Fallon

Thai K-pop superstar Lisa brought a taste of her homeland to American late-night television on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" while promoting her latest single, “SaWaDiKa”. During the closing segment of the show, Lisa introduced host Jimmy Fallon to some of her favorite Thai food and drinks, including som tam and Thai beer. She recommended som tam, or spicy green papaya salad, and encouraged Fallon to try dried shrimp and fresh chili — ingredients commonly found in the dish. Lisa then shared her own drink recipe, combining Korean soju, Thai beer and Sprite. The segment ended with Lisa introducing another familiar part of Thai drinking culture: raising a glass and saying “mot kaew”, meaning “bottoms up”. The appearance provided American viewers with a playful introduction to Thai food, flavors, and drinking culture as Lisa continued her promotion of “SaWaDiKa” in the US.
