The Ministry of Civil Service of Cambodia has announced the opening of applications for a competitive examination to recruit 15 legal officers (Category "A") to serve within the Ministry of Justice. The application period will run from July 20 to August 18, 2026. Applications will be submitted through an online system. Candidates are required to scan a QR code or visit the website https://go.gov.kh/era/mcs26moj01 to complete the application and upload required documents. For online registration, candidates must use their Cambodian national identification card number or their status as a monk (Chhaya). In cases where candidates do not possess these identification documents, they are advised to contact their respective provincial/municipal Civil Service departments for assistance. Required documents must be scanned from original or officially certified copies. Eligibility criteria include Cambodian nationality and a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Candidates must be at least 18 years old as of August 18, 2026, with specific age limits based on qualifications: civil servants and those holding a doctorate degree are exempt from the age limit. Candidates with a master's degree or equivalent are eligible up to 40 years old, while those with a bachelor's degree or equivalent are eligible up to 35 years old. Candidates will select the unit within the Ministry of Justice where they wish to serve. They must not have forfeited their civil, political, or civic rights. Priority and encouragement will be given to persons with disabilities who possess the qualifications and ability to fulfill the duties of the applied position, as well as to women, ethnic minorities, contract officials serving in public administration, and older candidates.
