Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology Announces Scholarship Programs

The Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) has announced a list of departments and programs eligible for scholarships for students enrolling in 2026. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Vietnamese government to encourage and support learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. The announced list includes 111 departments and programs categorized under basic sciences, key technical fields, and strategic technologies. These areas are considered crucial for driving Vietnam's economic growth and technological innovation. The scholarships are expected to benefit approximately 30,000 students studying in these fields, with an annual total budget of VND 1.3 trillion (approximately USD 55 million). PTIT is one of the leading educational institutions in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and has contributed to nurturing high-quality human resources for many years. This scholarship program aims to provide opportunities for talented students to acquire advanced expertise without being hindered by financial constraints. The Vietnamese government is pursuing a strategy of digital economic transition and industrial upgrading, making the development of STEM human resources a cornerstone of its national strategy. This scholarship program is anticipated to accelerate the cultivation of young engineers and researchers who will lead Vietnam in the future.
