Amyotha Hluttaw : 23rd day meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

The 23rd day of 2nd regular session of 3rd Amyotha Hluttaw was held at Amyotha Hluttaw Meeting Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday with the attendance of 203 Hluttaw representatives. During the Q&A session, questions were raised on Yangon-Rakhine coastal cruising plan, organizing temporary office to ensure convenient pension withdrawal for over 1000 retired civil servants from Saku of Minbu Township, and the cancellation of marriage certificates requirement for women of aged 70 years and above in family pension withdrawal process. Deputy Minister for Transport U Tun Lu and Deputy Ministers for Finance and Revenue U Han Win Aung and Daw Than Than Lin responded the questions. The session later clarified the bill on 7th Amendment of Amyotha Hluttaw Election Law, and the Speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw sought for approval. Likewise, the 7th Amendment Bill of Region Hluttaw/ Amyotha Hluttaw Election Law was presented during the session.
