Rin Sa was ordered to pay compensation to the civil plaintiffs: 220,000,000 Riel (approximately $55,000 USD) to Ngoun Sinet, mother of Keo Netra, and 100,000,000 Riel (approximately $25,000 USD) to Yot Maiyan. However, several years after the verdict, the victims' families have yet to receive any compensation, and the perpetrator remains a fugitive.
