Angkor Wat North Baray Structure Strengthening Underway
The Authority for the Protection and Management of Angkor and the Old City of Siem Reap (APSARA) is continuing restoration work on the stairs and embankment of the northern baray of Angkor Wat. This sixth phase of restoration began in mid-May 2026 and is expected to conclude by the end of the year, aiming to preserve the heritage site and enhance its landscape.
