Prabowo Targets Downsizing State-Owned Enterprises to 300

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has set a target to reduce the number of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) to a maximum of 300 by the end of 2026. This initiative aims to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and optimize assets by eliminating inefficient entities. Currently, 290 out of 1,074 SOEs have been consolidated.
