Three women died in a computer copy shop fire in Kalay City, Sagaing Region

Three women died in a fire at a computer copy shop in Kalay City, Sagaing Region, according to social welfare organizations and local residents. The fire broke out around 11 p.m. on September 21 and spread to the Apple computer copy shop in Taphu Thida Ward, Kalay Township, Sagaing Region. "Three women died. They are believed to be in their 20s," said a local resident of Kalay City. The Punnyakuthala Social Welfare Organization in Kalay City, which assisted in the fire response, announced that the three women who died in the fire were transported to Kalay People's Hospital along with firefighters and officials from the Karuna Social Welfare Organization. The fire lasted for about half an hour, and two fire engines and two water tanker trucks from the Kalay District/Township Fire Station were dispatched to extinguish the blaze, according to the Fire Services Department of Myanmar.
