Speaking at the ceremony, His Excellency the Secretary of State emphasized that the signing today marks the establishment of a long-term cooperation framework to link scientific research and knowledge with the preparation and implementation of public policies in the water resources sector, thereby enhancing their effectiveness. His Excellency added that this partnership will focus on five key areas: joint research, organizing policy dialogue forums, exchanging information and knowledge, capacity building, and knowledge development. These efforts will support water resource management, river basin management, strengthening resilience to climate change, and managing the risks of floods and droughts.
