Vietnam Communist Party to Draft New Cadre Regulations, General Secretary and President Lam Directs

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam is proceeding with the drafting of new resolutions concerning party cadres and their organization, to be adopted at the 14th Party Congress. General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that these resolutions must truly pave the way for a new stage of development in the party's ideology, institutions, and methods for cadre training and management. This resolution drafting is part of the directives from the Central Executive Committee on summarizing practices and amending/supplementing the Party Constitution. Furthermore, General Secretary and President To Lam has also issued directives calling for new advancements during a working session on developing synchronized infrastructure to help Vietnam become a modern industrial nation. This is seen as part of the national strategy to achieve Vietnam's industrialization and modernization goals. Additionally, in a meeting with the Central Organization Committee, discussions were held on the key tasks of party building, organization, and cadre development, confirming the necessity for new resolutions. These moves demonstrate the Communist Party of Vietnam's continuous efforts to strengthen and streamline its organization and maintain economic growth under its one-party system. Vietnam's political system is based on the one-party rule of the Communist Party, which plays a leading role in state governance and is central to the formulation of economic and social policies. While Vietnam's economy has achieved remarkable growth in recent years, securing and appropriately deploying talented personnel, along with maintaining party discipline, are considered indispensable for its sustained development.
